Young Entrepreneur for the Day – In August 2016, 10-year old Mackenzie Barnes of Carleton Place, Ontario spent the day at Java Jack’s learning what it takes to run a successful business.

The day was chock full…discussing business with a local artist, pricing retail gifts, conducting banking, baking cookies with Executive Chef, Bernice Hollett, making espresso like an expert barista and chatting with the guests in the restaurant. Mackenzie was delighted with the experience and someday hopes to have her own cafe!
